     Greeting's everyone. I am happy to announce that I have taken over as President of the Treasure Valley Chapter of the IMA. We are lucky to have many former board members and past presidents on the new board. We are all passionate about increasing participation with our current members and adding new members to this great organization. Please note that we have openings on our board committees and would welcome anyone who is interested in helping this organization. There are privileges for being on the board; just ask me and I will fill you in.


     In order to increase participation we are now offering the technical meetings for FREE to all members and non-members. Yes, for FREE! We are excited to offer this as a way to bring value to your membership and to increase our exposure to non-members. This is a great reason to bring a friend, have a free lunch and learn all at the same time. Please look for meeting details in your email and snail mail box. Given the current economic times, there is no more important time to stay active and network in a professional organization.


     Do you have any ideas for our Chapter or activities that you would like to see us provide? What times of the day are better for CPE offerings and in for what duration? Feedback from our membership is critical to our success. Please don't hesitate to call or email any of the board members.

Lean Accounting Summit organizers have announced the dates for the 5th annual Summit as

The Summit will be held at Walt Disney World's Contemporary Resort in Orlando, FL.

Summit co-organizer Dwayne Butcher notes, "This is a milestone year since this is the Summit's 5th year.
